How's it going neighbors This is Ed here with etrailer.com and we're taking a look at the Thule TracRac TracOne Ladder Rack on our 2023 Chevrolet Silverado 1500. Adding a ladder rack to the back of your vehicle helps solve the issue of increasing your cargo space but not taking up all the room in your bed. So it takes advantage of that negative space above your bed and cab. So you can get those longer items like lumber, PVC pipe or ladders on the road with you or even out for fun times you can get your kayaks, your bicycles and basically any rooftop accessory. Starting at the top of our track rack system you're gonna have load stops that are gonna be adjustable, that you can use as tie downs, as well as ways to, you know, keep things from shifting as you're going on the road. The bars and uprights are themselves are made of aluminum. more

How's it going neighbors This is Ed here with etrailer.com, and we're taking a look at the Yakima Overhaul HD Ladder Rack on our 2023 Chevrolet Silverado 1500. So we're gonna take a look at the Overhaul HD on the back of the Silverado. As you can see with this configuration, I have it with the 68-inch bars that basically have no hangover to the side of the bed, but still maintain these tie-down points. Your adjustability with the Overhaul is going to allow you to go between 18 and 30 inches above the rails on the bed. So that's gonna give you plenty adjustability for things underneath the bars themselves to take advantage of the bed. Having a roof rack system in general is gonna allow you to get these items like the Yakima SkinnyWarrior out on the road with you. more

How's it going neighbors This is Ed here with etrailer.com and we're taking a look at the Yakima OutPost ladder rack on our 2023 Chevrolet Silverado 1500. Adding a ladder rack to the back of your Silverado is gonna allow you to increase the amount of cargo you can bring along with you without taking up the space on the inside of your bed. So it gets you ability to take advantage of this negative space so you can add like a cargo basket like this Yakima SkinnyWarrior or any other rooftop accessories, but just on the bed of your truck. This configuration has the Yakima HD bars. They are 68 inches wide, so this is gonna give you limited hangover that kind of stops right with the end of the truck. You have the towers here, they're all powder-coated steel, and that's gonna hold up against the elements, you know, just basically the abuse that you're gonna have on the road. more

Hi, I'm Matt with etrailer, today we're gonna be talking about the Malone TradeSport Ladder Rack on the 2021 Chevrolet Silverado 1500. A ladder rack is gonna be great for the Silverado, because they're really gonna help you maximize the amount of space you can use in your bed. What the Malone is gonna help you offer to is plenty of additional mounting points on the legs and on top of our T-track on our crossbars. And it's gonna have the ability to hold up to 800 pounds, which is a lot more than some of our other ladder racks we have here. Our system's gonna be comprised of three parts. The BedRock's gonna be a good choice for you if you don't want to get a roof rack since that's gonna be up front on the top of your vehicle and it's not gonna be able to carry as much stuff since it has a lower weight capacity. And it's gonna be a great choice if you don't want to invest in a ladder rack since this is gonna be at a lower price point than a ladder rack. And it's gonna sit a little bit closer to your vehicle so it's not gonna take up as much room but you're still gonna be able to utilize the maximum amount of space for your bed. So the Xsporter Pro is available in two models. We have the silver version here but it's also available in an all-black version. Now, these two models, are gonna be exactly the same besides the color. So just choose the one that you feel is gonna best match your truck. Adam: What's going on everybody Adam, here with etrailer. Today, we're going to be taking a look at the Thule TracRac TracOne ladder rack on our 2020 Chevrolet Silverado. So this ladder rack system is going to be a no drill install. So really all we need is an Allen tool to adjust everything and get it nice and secured to the bed of our truck. The nice thing about it is we're going to have a lot of adjustments to be able to fit whatever size bed that you guys have, but we are going to get a nice fitment as well. This is the black color, but we also have a silver one as well. more

Adam: What's going on everybody, Adam here with etrailer. Today, we're going to be taking a look at the Yakima Overhaul HD adjustable ladder rack on a 2020 Chevrolet Silverado. As you guys can see here, we have one at the lowest setting and one at the highest setting. The highest settings is going to be about 30 inches off the rails of the bed of your truck. And the lowest setting is going to be about 19 inches from this point all the way to the top of the bar. The bars we have here are the HD Bars, so they are relatively thick. more

So if you guys are looking to maximize the capacity of your bed, the HD bars are going to be able to do that. This, in my opinion, is one of my favorite products for trucks, just because I like to be able to maximize what my truck can do. With this, we're going to have a capacity of about 300 pounds that we can go ahead and load up a bunch of different stuff, whether it's just a cargo basket, even a platform tray, we can go ahead and put some bikes on here. We can go ahead and put some kayak carriers, canoe carriers, rod carriers, literally, the possibilities are endless. more

Hi guys, Adam with etrailer.com. Today we're going to be taking a look at the Thule TracRac system on our 2019 Chevrolet Silverado. So this TracRac system is going to be very, very convenient to get all your stuff nice and organized. I like to keep my bed of my truck pretty much clear most of the time but a lot of the times I drive around with a ladder, maybe even a kayak when I'm going kayaking and to keep that up top and maybe keep some of my other gear in the bed of the truck is ideal, this TracRac is going to allow you to do that.Thule did keep in mind that you want to protect your truck so what they did was they threw in these little rubber pieces right here and that's going to protect your bed rails from getting scratches or abrasions. Also, it is a very, very nice design. It's got a very sturdy structure with a nice powder coated finish so it's going to resist against rust and corrosion. more

Thule Ladder Racks Review - 2019 Chevrolet Silverado 1500- Video
Speaker 1: Today in our 2019 Chevrolet Silverado 1500, we're going to be doing a test fit on the Thule Xporter Pro adjustable height ladder rack, part number TH500xt.Now this ladder rack is very useful for carrying elongated loads above the bed of your pickup without having to open up your tailgate and let it hang out. It's also going to free up space on the inside of your bed for other tools or gear, whatever you might have.You can also extend it above your cab a good amount, to carry those very long ladders, or lumber, anything like that. We also have these load stops that are in the T-tracks on top of the crossbars. All you've got to do is loosen up these hand knobs, and you can adjust the load stop to kind of sandwich your load between the two and then tighten it back down.Like I said, they do work in these T-channels. That's also going to let you know that you can utilize any type of carrier, such as a kayak carrier on top of our crossbars. If you have the type where it straps around your crossbar, you might need to pick up an adaptor kit due to the thickness of these crossbars, they're a little bit thicker than your traditional Thule AeroBlade roof rack system.The height of these crossbars is adjustable. more

Speaker 1: Today on our 2015 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 we're going to be taking a look at the Erickson Over-the-Cab Truck Bed Ladder Rack, Part Number EN07707. This Over-the-Cab Ladder Rack is going to let you carry some of the longest items such as ladders, pipes and lumber.This over-the-cab extension is going to be one of the longest on the market, adding about 56" from the bed rail to the over-the-cab rail. The middle rail on the over-the-cab extension can be adjusted to accommodate various loads by loosening the bolts on each side and sliding it forward or backward.Now we can have smaller cargo here in the rear such as bags or coolers and strap them down and we still have room in the front for other accessories, or we could slide the rail forward and put those items up there and still have room for ladders and other things here in the back. The raised side rails provide extra support and also act as a load stop to prevent cargo from sliding off the edge of your ladder rack. The side rails can also be used as a tie down point, as well as the hooks here, here and here located on each leg.When you're ready to load it up the side rails will help you get that extra leverage you need to get your heavier, longer cargo up there. They can also be used as a handle to easily get into the back of your truck bed. more

Today on our 2015 Chevy Silverado, we're going to be doing a test fit of the Ericsson Ladder Rack System. This is going to be your 800 lb. Capacity ladder rack. It's going to be made out of sturdy steel construction, and as you can see, we've already got it placed inside the bed of our truck. Now a few things to note, that when you're placing this in your truck, is that you're going to have limited spots as far as bringing it all the way back like a normal ladder rack would, and all the way forward like you normally would, just because of the inside of the bed rail. Erickson Ladder Racks Review - 2015 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 EM07705- Video
Today on our 2015 Chevrolet Silverado, we're going to be doing a test fit of the Erickson bed mounted ladder rack system. This is going to be your aluminum constructed eight hundred pound weight capacity ladder rack. You can see it's going to be fully adjustable with the thumb screws on either side so you can get the exact bar overhang on both sides and get it fully adjusted. Same with your bump stops on top, those are going to be fully adjustable the same way and provide a nice tie down point and stop for your equipment and your gear. All right. Looking down here in the bed, you're going to see the J hooks that attach to the bottom side of the bed rail and attach the ladder rack to the bed safely. more

TracRac TracONE Truck Bed Ladder Rack Installation - 2014 Chevrolet Silverado- Video
Today on our 2014 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 Series Crew Cab, well be test fitting the Tracrac TracONE Truck Bed Ladder Rack, part number TA 27000-01. Well begin our test fit by laying our rubber pads onto the bed rails of our pickup truck. Now were going to take the front part of our ladder rack and place it onto our pads. We do want to make sure that both feet are in line with each other so well find a fixed point on our bed rail and set each side according to that fixed point. Depending on the width of your truck bed, you may need to adjust your arms. Theres 2 allen bolts on each arm here at the top that connects to our crossbar. You can loosen those up and slide your arm as needed to adjust the width of your arms. more
